Routes

Below are various routes that start out from Moena. They are spectacular trips, recommended by the bikers from our valley. Be carried away by our Ladin valleys with their breath-taking views and evocative corners.

• Moena - Passo Pordoi - Passo Falzarego - Passo di Valparola - Chiusa - Belluno - Passo Rolle - Predazzo – Moena 450 km
  Set out north from Moena on the SS48 delle Dolomoti and reach Canazei in approximately 15 minutes. Tackle the Passo Pordoi (2,239 m), located among the Marmalada group to the south and the Sella group to the north. Once past the Pordoi, head towards Passo di Falzarego (2109 m), which connects the upper Agordino with Cortina d’Ampezzo. It is situated a few kilometres south of Trentino-Alto Adige, which can be reached from the Passo di Valparola, between the Nuvolau and the Lagazuoi. Once past this pass, continue towards Chiusa going through Bressanone, Brunico, Dobbiaco, Cortina d’Ampezzo, Pieve di Cadore until reaching Belluno. Cross the Dolomiti Bellunesi park heading towards the municipality of Siròr to tackle the Passo Rolle (1,984 m) along the 50 del Grappa A road, which divides the valleys of Cismon and Travignolo. The Passo Rolle connects the valleys of Primiero and Fiemme and joins San Martino di Castrozza, in the municipalities of Tonadico and Siròr, with Bellamonte, a hamlet in Predazzo. The pass is located in the Pale di San Martino Group, especially between the Vezzana (3192 m) and the Cimon della Pala (3186 m). At this point, having crossed the Passo Rolle, descend towards Predazzo, taking up the SS48 Dolomites road and return finally towards Moena, in the Val di Fassa.
   
• Moena - Passo S. Pellegrino - Passo Valles - S. Martino di Castrozza - Castel Tesino - Passo Manghen - Molina - Predazzo - Moena 180 km
  Set out from Moena and follow the signs for Passo San Pellegrino, which is just 11 km away, descend towards Falcade without entering the village but turning right for the Passo Valles and continuing on until the Passo Rolle (1984 m), then finally descending to San Martino di Castrozza. Continue south on the SS50 del Grappa until Lamon. From Lamon to Castello Tesino, the journey times are pretty short: approximately 20 minutes. This is the halfway point of the journey. To return, cross the Passo Manghen and head down until Molina di Fiemme, Predazzo and finally Moena, in the Fassa Valley.
   
• Moena - Vigo - Passo Costalunga - Passo Nigra - Ortisei - Val Gardena - Corvara - Arabba - Passo Pordoi - Canazei - Moena 142 km
  Set off from Moena taking the SS48 delle Dolomoti north, cross the village of Soraga and follow directions for Bolzano. Having reached Passo Costalunga, start to cross it slightly and turn right straight away, following directions for Passo Nigra which is 23 km from Moena. Follow the panoramic road until Castelrotto (approximately 40 minutes) and then on to Passo Gardena. Descend to Ortisei, Selva di Val Gardena, Colfosco and Corvara and in doing so tackle first the Passo Campolongo and then the Passo Pordei. Descend towards Canazei, until reaching Moena.
